Our Story
We are Kenert and Laura, the founders of the jewelry brand Sanalliset. Our journey together began in 2023 while living in Espoo, Finland. From the very beginning, our desire has been to capture meaningful memories in jewelry. That is how we created pieces that tell your unique story and keep precious moments always close by. Today, we have come full circle back home and set up our studio in Tartu. While our location has changed, the reason we do this remains exactly the same: we love the thought that one small piece of jewelry can hold such vast and important memories.
How we started
Looking back, our craft and process have evolved significantly. We started with a simple laser engraver, using a special powder to mark the metal and add the very first words and dates to our jewelry. It was an exciting time of experimenting and learning.
Today, we use a diamond engraver in our work. This has been a huge step forward for us, as we believe a diamond-tipped engraving leaves the most elegant and everlasting mark. This technology has also given us the freedom to be more creative; in addition to text, we can now capture genuine handwriting, a child's first drawing, or even a fingerprint or paw print.

Because every story is unique, each piece of jewelry is crafted personally for you. Engraving is an art of precision that always begins with meticulous preparation and design. It is deeply important to us that every detail is placed exactly as you envisioned.

The most beautiful part of our work is seeing what our customers choose to engrave. A child's drawing for a mother. A date never to be forgotten. A romantic message for a loved one.
